OLEANDER On-Time Monday Bermuda Arrival
The Oleander is scheduled to sail from Port Elizabeth today (Friday) and the Captain has advised that he is anticipating a heavy weather crossing (again) but still anticipates an 8:00am on-time Hamilton arrival Monday morning.
NGML Moves Upstairs
NGML has now moved upstairs. We invite you to come visit us on the first floor of 14 Par La Ville Place. If you leave us your business card you can enter to win a round trip to Philadelphia this summer on the CMV Oleander. The draw will occur at the end of February 2014.
ZIM Line stays the course
After announcing last week that ACL would withdraw its Bermuda service, importers will be very pleased to learn that ZIM line will continue its service to Bermuda. ZIM vessels will arrive in Port Elizabeth and containers will be drayed to BCL’s new Philadelphia terminal, commencing in March. ZIM provides global services but is mostly known in Bermuda for service from the Far East, Latin America, Caribbean and Southern Europe. MSC continues to offer global service for importers including UK/Europe. Other transshipment options will be announced in due course.
Pictures of the week
The Oleander experienced 100 plus mph winds on the way back to Port Elizabeth last week. Click here to see 5 photos of the heavy weather reminding us of how lucky some of us are to be on land at this time of year.
Thank you for your business!
